Nice and spacious site. Perfect for our 23ft trailer. Close to camp store, which have some of the best soft serve ice cream in NP.

Spacious and our site wasn't next to anyone really

As I travel with my dog, most of the parks experiences were not available to me. I know that the prohibition of dogs on trails is purportedly to prevent disturbing wildlife. However given the number of people traveling the trails, I doubt that the wildlife would be any more disturbed by leashed dogs.

We always enjoy coming to Lake Manzanita campground we enjoy walking around the lake, and after having a ice cream from the store. We find the spaces well spaced out since we come every year we have our favorites.A very easy park to get to and through and many trails to conquer.

We arrived the first day the campground opened for the season. Unfortunately, it started to snow off and on through the night. We did manage a walk to the lake and saw a pair of bald eagles and a goose pair with 5 little ones. Since it was still snowing a very cold and wet we decided to leave 2 days early.
