This site was a bit tough to pull our trailer into and we had to use extra levelers to balance the trailer.

The site location was very nice, far enough away from both people and the main road, the only problem was that the 40 foot driveway was curved around a tree and you can only realistically get a 30 foot trail max in there or you were sticking out into the main road.

Lassen NP is a fascinating combination of life and destruction. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and camping at Manzanita Lake. It’s an old NP campground so spaces are small and close together. No privacy but other campers were very respectful: no one walked through our site, no one was loud or played loud music, quiet hours were observed as were the limited generator hours. Flush toilets were clean and convenient. Location is convenient to many Lassen sights. We would definitely stay here again.
