Great general campsite for families. Generally, I am open to differing levels of accommodations at national parks, but I was very impressed with the campsite. Large sites on the D loop, walking distance to the lake, and close to a lot of amenities (like the general store). I intend to come back in the future.

Great time. Camps are a little close together but it was nice still.

Most of the tent campsites at Manzanita Lake are so close together that they're practically on top of one another, so there's no privacy here. Maybe one of the outer-loop sites on the far end from the entrance would have been quieter or more secluded; those weren't available by the time I booked ('cause Summit Lake campground was closed just before my reservation).

really nice campsite. great hiking trails right out of the site. nice little general store nearby. be sure to get a map at the ranger station, cell service is very spotty in the park.
