Great campground with lots of amenities. There's flushable toilets, showers and even a small store with cold and hot food cafe. Note: the toilets don't have a light so bring a headlamp and the showers are a small fee, bring your own toiletries. But that's pretty luxurious amenities for a National Park campground! The campground is also right along a lake with a great hiking trail around it for birdwatching, fishing and rentals available for paddle boarding or kayaking. It was also a treat to watch the sunset over the lake and see the bats feed on the insects. It's a very popular campground in the summer and all the sites were full. There's also a great meadow nearby for some stargazing. This particular campsite was a bit challenging to find a large flat spot but if you have smaller tents, then there were a couple of spots that could work. Fire ring and table provided. Parking was easy and paved.

Arrived late and the ranger at gate had little interest in helping me locate the campsite or offered to cancel the next night. The NP park system employees cannot modify any reservation or help with another. Everything is outsourced. Very frustrating. Case in point you show up thinking you can access the campsite email and guess what ? No cell service If the NP system wants you to rely on The Cloud then out the infrastructure in place. Roads at park were closed due to snow. Dont visit until August as the cool experience here wont ba available.

Clean bathrooms with flush toilets. Sites had a good amount of buffer space between them. Beautiful forest setting.

Such a clean and bountiful place to camp. Its a pretty dense campgroup (lots of people) but it never felt that way. Very helpful and kind staff too!

We camped for one night in the tent-only loop (Loop D) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Since much of the park was still closed during our time there, the campground was quiet and peaceful. Sites are spaced adequately enough so that you aren't overhearing every neighboring conversation, and there are bear boxes at each site. The facilities are well-maintained, with a dishwashing station available near the restrooms. You can easily walk to the Manzanita Lake trailhead from the campground, as well as to a gift shop/camp store that is equipped with supplies and food if needed. A great campground!
