The campsites were very large and spaced out compared to other national parks we have stayed in before. It was a lovely spot. I would go back again.

Beautiful camp, great views very close by, lots of shade. Hikes straight from the campground.

This is a nice national park campsite, but needs a lot of love. We experienced "out of order" signs on nearly everything! Camp bathrooms had broken sinks, broken faucets, (and missing toilet paper and paper towels) while the laundromat had only one of four washers working. It feels like there must be a serious budget crunch for this national park, as it needs more staff and maintenance.Great camp store, though! Lots of necessary things are available. (But it WAS out of coffee and ice cream all three days we were there!)The layout itself is fine, as it is a big campground with several loops. I wish the lake were more central to the campground, as it is only on one far end. So you could literally stay here and not even know there is a lake. The edges of the lake are a bit mucky/muddy, so it isn't totally easy to wade into the water. (Note that we really loved Summit Lake, which is 20 minutes away, for a day of swimming). One annoying thing we experienced here is that one RV ran their generator all night long. It was so loud and annoying for our family. The generator hours are not posted anywhere except for one small sign at the campground host, so I am not sure RV owners really know this. But that being said, I wish the campground host had told this RV owner to shut down their generator. Beautiful trees in this area!

What a gorgeous campground with so many amenities! We came here with our two toddlers and loved walking around. Bathrooms were very clean, staff was friendly. It was busy but did not feel crowded. We loved having access to the store as well as being able to walk down to the lake and rent some kayaks. A lovely campground - would absolutely recommend and would stay here again!

LOVED this campground. Super roomy, quiet, at the far end of the park but it wasn't a problem. Would definitely go back.
