Super nice campground. Very clean restrooms. Has spacious sites

There is no available camp host and no maps. Roads are not made for a big rig. Water from spicket was swampy. Even with a filter and then through the brita filter. Had to eat out as the water quality wasnt good enough to wash dishes. It's a beautiful view. Picnic table was nice. Roads are in terrible condition.

The campsites are large & well spaced. Sites & restrooms were clean. The problem is the fire pits have a very tall metal ring & at many sites the grate to raise the logs is broken or missing. That makes it impossible to build a cooking fire close enough to the grill.

Great campground! Clean, well managed and very quiet. Definitely recommend if you're in the Shreveport/ Bossier area.

This was our 3rd stay at Beaver Dam. The sites are large and private. Wifi has improved. Its easy to get to and pretty.

This place was nice! The handicap part on the app confused us but you can still reserve the campsite even if you aren't disabled. There was no check in spot that we saw but very quiet place

Very clean, well maintained park. The camp host was friendly and professional! Only there one night, it was super hot, but a great experience!

Site was in great condition. Bathrooms and showers were OK, clean enough, but not the best we have seen at COEs. Nice remote location. Rode bikes to the boat launch to use our paddle boards, it was a nice day for a paddle.

Location was perfect!
Site was spotless!
Camp host went above and beyond!
However the bathhouses...a different story. Had not been swept/cleaned in ?? I know bugs get in but the bathhouse bu site 13...wow. no hot water. One shower head had more water running down the wall than from the spout.
I am sure I have used worse bathhouses in the past...I just don't recall when.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful! There was weather headed our way and the camp host, Mike, made sure all campers were aware and knew where to shelter. Mike was very courteous and informative when we arrived.

Peaceful, quiet campground. Very well maintained. Site 13 is spacious and level. Love the privacy afforded by all the natural trees and undergrowth.

This is an unsung jewel. Excellent facilities, well maintained. beautiful sites, well separated and private. Understory allowed to remain between sites is beautiful and provides privacy. You should do all of your campgrounds like that. Also camped at Cloud Crossing where understory had recently been burned off. Not anywhere close to as nice as Beaver Dam.

Site 13, a nice mostly shaded spot. Friendly camp host. Limited access to shoreline. Poor cell service and thus very slow hotspot. There was just one each male and female bathrooms on our side of the loop. Wife said the one sink in women’s bathroom did not work. One of two unisex showers had no inside light, and bath/shower site was not externally lit, so a little spooky.

This is a very peaceful park. There are some things to be aware of, the restrooms need to be rebuilt, the undergrowth between the site pads and the lake should be cleared out and maintained that way. The road is one lane and it is narrow but you can manage it with a big rig. We use C-Spire cell service and there was almost none. I'd say the foliage is too thick for satelite service. We did manage to get 25 digital channels

This is a really well kept park and very close to town and stuff. We got to meet the new camp host this trip and they were very pleasant. We will always try and stay here where life is great and it is quiet. We go at off times so never crowded.

We loved everything about this campground! It's quiet, sites are spacious, managers are wonderful. Perfect stay!
