We had an incredible time at Sunset Campground! True to its name, the sunset views here are absolutely quiet and serenethe perfect backdrop for relaxing with friends and family. Its also in a great central location; we easily visited Hume Lake, jumped off Muir Rock, experienced Boyden Cavern, Grizzly Falls, and explored the Giant Forest all in one trip. If you want a peaceful spot thats close to the best sights in Sequoia, this is it.

Sites 51, 52 & 53 are pretty flat. 51 & 52 are well shaded. All give excellent view and are fairly private.

Amazing views, the “sunset” on its name it’s very relevant! Sunset and night are beautiful there. There are flush toilets and a sink to clean dishes/pots/etc. Not super quiet at night, but beautiful surroundings. I had some service in there, the only place in Sequoia/Kings canyon where I got some service.
