Beautiful Forest but the camp sites are sooo tiny and very close together, this campsite seems to be frequented by people whos idea of camping is to sneak 3 times more people than the site is supposed to have, bring AS MUCH of your stuff that you possibly can and make noise all night long. This is supposed to be bear county and I saw half a dozen CAMP SHOWER TENTS set up, people dumping the food filled water from coolers on the ground, guys urinating in the middle on camp sites. EVERYTHING you could imagine being wrong with a campsite, this is it. Saw a ranger drive by while a guy saw urinating 10 feet from the road and NOTHING from the ranger, just kept driving. Do the same when looking for a good place to camp, just keep driving. Clearly all these five stars review are from the people bringing ALL their stuff, so they can party in the woods. And shame on the Park Service for allowing all this to happen. But still a beautiful place to visit.

Very let down by this particular experience. First off, no campfires allowed. Which I understand was a park wide mandate due to dry conditions, but while I followed the protocol, virtually every other camper was fires ablaze and NOT a single ranger enforcing the rule.
Quiet hours not enforced at all. A huge youth camp group woke everyone up at 5am, and no one from the facility bothered to say a thing.
Bathrooms clean for the most part.
No real way to wash dishes or clean camp cooking goods outside of restroom adjacent single sink.
Lovely views and generally clean sites. Still, will choose a different location in the future. Will not return to Sunset.
