Fantastic campground! Our site was spacious and we fell asleep to the sound of the river every night. A mama bear and her two cubs walked through one night at dinner time and caused some commotion, which we thought was cool but others might feel differently.

Our campsite was in a perfect location adjacent to the creek. It was a very serene location and we befriended a blue jay that decided that wake up time was 5:15 every morning. The womens restrooms were very clean and up-kept, but the mens restrooms could have used a little more upkeep. Another area of concern is that other campers decided to not follow campfire rules, we could have used a little more presence of the rangers. There were 2 bear sightings which I personally thought was fantastic. We visited the Boyden Cavern which was stunning. I am disappointed that there was not more advertisement for it since we only stopped by to see what it was. Grizzly Falls and Roaring Falls were nice, cant wait to visit in spring when the water really gets going. We got a fishing license and visited Hume Lake, we didnt catch anything but saw others who did. The Horseback riding through the Sequoia Park was beautiful and well worth upgrading to the 2hr ride. Overall we had a fantastic trip and hope to come back in Spring.

Wonderful campground, beautiful and peaceful, you can soak your feet in Kings River during the day and hear it at night.

Sheep Creek Campground was lovely! Site 11 was really well positioned next to the river (though down wind from the restrooms). All the sites are well positioned and well spaced. We really enjoyed our campsite - water was nearby, restrooms were clean and it was nice to have a food locker at each campsite.
