Campground and facilities were good. However we did not like the fact that the toilets did not have lights. Also it was not obvious what sinks should be used to wash dishes. Some faucets had handles that you constantly need to hold that made washing/filling water a bit challenging. Also the directions and sign to the campground was not good. We missed the campground as there was no sign on the road. Better signage will be helpful.

The campground was lovely, could see the stars really well when we went, and it was walkable to the nearby market for any extras. The only thing is that there wasn't any toilet paper in the women's bathroom, but we came prepared with some from our trip. The ranger on call was very helpful and let us know about the active bears in the area. Absolutely beautiful area and would love to stay here again in the future!

Ive stayed here twice, and I have to say that although it is a lovely location filled with tons of trees, it is a very noisy campsite. Both times Ive stayed (2 years apart), I encountered large groups of people, yelling, playing drinking games and being very unneighborly in the campground until many hours past quiet time. It was frustrating since we were staying this time for one night before doing a 40 mile hike into the backcountry. Hoping to get a good night sleep before our trek proved to be impossible. I do appreciate everyone who works for the park to keep these sites clean and useable. But this site had very few open restrooms. Im sure that will change as the other campsites like sheep creek reopen. Overall it was nice to be able to camp so close to the roads end trailhead - just dont expect it to be quiet :-/

We returned to Kings Canyon for the first time in 40 years. Beautiful campground! Enjoyed the cool and crisp fall weather, perfect for campfires! Several of the stores and visitor centers were closed due to end of season, this was not an issue for us. We enjoyed the drive to the end of the road. Stopped at the Roosevelt tree on our way out of the park. One thing to keep in mind when planning a visit there are no gas stations inside the park, so be sure to have full gas tanks. There is so much to see, however a lot of driving is required to go from Kings Canyon to Sequoia. Looking forward to another visit.

Sentinel campground at Cedar Grove. We had a great time. A bit smoky with the fire at Sequoia Park. And, this late in the season, the water level is pretty low. I will try to book a room at the lodge for next year so that some others can come who cant sleep on the ground. And next time, I will endeavor to to book earlier so that I can get a site near the river.

Very nice campground near the river with adequate bear boxes and great restrooms! Also had shovels and ash buckets for cleaning out the firepits! Plenty of space for our large tent at the 12x12 site.

Campsites are way to close. Camping is supposed to be a relaxing experience. But instead we found ourselves smack dab in the middle of numerous different party's.So bad that I could hear every conversation of our fellow campers. The area was incredible. It's just to bad recreation department needs to pack people almost on top of each other just for a extra buck.Shame I won't be back.To enjoy the area.
