Lovely place. Pine needle floor. Super tall pines all around. We had a very pleasant stay here.

Awesome! It was a delight being within the trees. Since there is not much underbrush, there are just enough trees to make it feel open and private enough at the same time. And you can buy campfire wood until 9 pm from the village nearby. Would camp again.

Beautiful and spacious site. Pretty crowded by friday so I recommend coming Thursday and enjoying a bit more quiet. But overall a wonderful camp site.

It was beautiful, unfortunately my wife left some food from the beach the day before in her chair so a bear came and took the chair in the middle of the night and my wife freaked out so we left. It was a dumb mistake on our part. Normally Im Uber careful. I didnt think to check the beach chair which was a mistake in both of us. Oh well, the campsite was absolutely beautiful! I wouldnt stay again only because there was a bear and the people next to us had said the bear was at their campground the night before and they sprayed it with bear spray and it didnt even affect the bear. The bear had a tag in it which means its a regular so if your into seeing bears 4 feet from your tent at 11pm at night potentially smelling something, than well this is the place to stay. But other than that its a beautiful camp site with trees everywhere !

Nice space for each campground. River is in walking distance. We used the dry wood around us to start a fire which was nice, so I am glad we did not but firewood

I was in campsite #42. I liked the easy access to the restroom, water faucet about 100 feet away. The site had a slight grade, about 1~2%, but not too bad. Shade was very nice. The loop roads are in need of maintenance: in several places, tree branches have forced up the pavement so much that low-ground-clearance vehicles like a Prius might actually scrape on these bumps. NOTE: There is no electricity in the restrooms, so you need to bring a flashlight after sunset. There is a dishwashing sink behind each restroom. Most of the parking pads are very small, maybe 22', and only 7 or 8 of the sites can accommodate an RV longer than this. Make sure you verify the size of the parking pad is big enough to take your vehicle.
When I was there, the Kings River canyon was full of smoke from the two fires that were burning in the area, so I left the second day and forfeited the other three nights. Smoke was too thick and giving me a sore throat. Sad, but this wasn't the campground's fault.

We camped in site 42 the night before starting a backpacking trip on the Rae Lakes Loop. The site was large enough to be comfortable for our group of 5; there was a water spigot nearby; a sink for rinsing dishes was nearby; the restrooms were clean; and camping among the Sequoia was sublime!

This campground is quite and close to river. Amenities are enough and close by. You need to drive about one hour after entering the kings canyon national park. Roads are winding, so pay extra caution if you drive at night. Enjoy your trip here
