We stayed in Upper Lodgepole. It was great, but the campsite was a lot smaller than anticipated and a lot more sun than the site stated. I believe the smaller size and more sun was due to the recent loss of trees from wildfires in the campground. The park rangers were great and answered all of our questions. During our stay the shuttle was not operating which was a bummer but again this was something out of their control (due to a work stoppage order from the shuttle company). Overall Sequoia is a beautiful park and well worth a visit.

I loved staying in a campground that was directly next to the river. Excellent campground. This was the best campground in Kings/Sequoia and would definitely return here again.

Great campground. Only downside was that the showers and deli were closed for the whole of the season. Otherwise, great place to camp on sequoia.

Campsite 93 was clean, level, near bathrooms (very clean) with a sink and water spigot next to them. This site was against the mountain so semi private and still could hear the stream/river which was very soothing. Park Rangers we’re helpful and courteous. The store staff were also really nice & the Lodgepole store was very well stocked with any thing you camp related you may have forgotten & lots of fun souvenirs. The hike to the falls from our campsite was easily accessible and a must see.
