Site 59 description says it accommodates a 8' x 8' tent in a small slanted/bumpy tent spot, but we fit a 14' x 10' tent in that spot. If you position it closer to the tree than the bear box, you'll be a bit on a rock/bump but just put it under your air mattress and you should be fine. It's right by the main roadway and path to the visitor center/marketplace, so you'll be able to people-watch everyone going by as you sit by your campfire, and it's a quick walk to go pick up supplies or get a meal/shower.

Nice campground and close to everything of interest in the park. Shuttle picks up from the campground also. Only down side was that the showers were closed.

The campground was great. Beautiful trees surrounding our space. Nice fire pit (that we could actually use!) & table. All in good condition. And you can't beat the price. Also, the hike to the falls is gorgeous, right from the campground. Ranges were nice & helpful & all the shuttle bus people were great too.
My only complains mostly had to do with decisions from the upper-level idiots. The fist stupid move... Who decided to close ALLLL the holding tank dump sites over Memorial Weekend? Seriously?! Next was a bit of a surprise. In the loop we were in, I noticed there were no bathrooms at all to serve the entire section. Fortunately we had our own. But for the tenters or people without, they had to hike it through a couple other people's camp sites, across the main road, through a few more sites to the bathrooms for that section. Now imagine a tent load of girls at 2 AM. Lastly, is... Memorial Weekend with the worst traffic ever & some bozo decided NOT to have the shuttle busses running to Morro Rock like they usually do. They ran to Wolverton (basically worthless), yet not Morro.
