my experience here was not good at all . I was located in site 188 and since the site was right next to the restroom a lot of other people camping here just walked right through my camp site just to get to the restroom . It was very annoying and hard to sleep .

i was in site 188 located right next to the restrooms and didnt like how all the other campers decided to use our site as a shortcut and they would just walk right through our campsite and all our belongings just to get to the restroom. It was really annoying and hard to sleep with all the campers just walking through our campsite all night.

All the woman restrooms didnt have any toiletpaper and they were very dirty. Toiletpaper on the floors. Other than that it was a nice stay!

We had a great 9 night stay at Lodgepole Campground. Lodgepole has several things we need for independence day camping trips with extended family. This is our forth stay at Lodgepole. There is a good market and grill, showers, and laundry. The creek that runs through the campground is good for hanging out cooling down on a hot day. Its near the Giant Forrest and a reasonable drive to the Grant Grove. Wuksachi Lodge is less than 2 miles away and we usually get one room there as a little escape from the campground for us older folk. Wuksachi has a good restaurant, pizza deck and little bar that make a nine day camping trip a bit more comfortable. So while we prepare most meals at the campsite, its nice to have options. The rangers are very good, patrolling constantly to keep order but not overly stern. There was a nightly ranger talk at the amphitheater and we enjoyed several of them. Overall the campsites are fairly close together so neighbors are luck of the draw. The shuttle stop at Lodgepole has route will take you to the General Sherman Tree, the Giant Forrest Museum, Morrow/Rock Crescent Meadow and Wuksachi Lodge. This makes Lodgepole Campground a very functional hub for Sequoia NP. We will certainly be back.

It’s a beautiful campsite… there was however issues with the plumbing in our camp section. Water was shut off, closing down use of bathroom facilities, as well as the port a Johns being locked due to being overfilled … luckily they were able to resolve issues and restore access to facilities again

Great campsite surrounded by redwood trees. Easy access to the river and a nice hike to Topokah falls.
