We arrived on Sunday. The bathrooms were a disaster and need to be cleaned . They were super dirty and there was used toilet paper in PILES all around each toilet. The soap dispensers were empty and the toliet paper was completely gone by Monday. This was the only bathroom available around us site 180. The bathroom was NEVER cleaned and nothing was ever replaced . NO toilet paper from Monday until we left Wednesday....This was worse then using a pit toilet.... Unexceptable since we were paying over $30 a night..

We were two nights late due to mechanical issues, but thank goodness. The site the system allowed us to reserve for a 19' compact RV was so small we could hardly find the pad and were very close to the bear box. Thankfully the first night, it was a double site unbelievably, and our neighbors were two men with a tent and a small car that squeezed in next to us. This pair of spots should have been tents only except our side didn't have space for a tent. Why do they ask for size details and then disregard them?? The second night the tent guys were gone and after dark a huge Airstream and towing vehicle tried to get into that tiny space for nearly an hour, kept trying to our consternation! before the kind ladies in a tear-drop across the tiny narrow road offered to trade spaces with them! That trailer was WAY longer than what is allowed in Lodgepole in that area at least, and that area is WAY TOO crowded overall!Just felt gypped of the experience we had long planned on.On another important issue, the resrooms, two buildings with two seaters for a large and busy camp, were only half functional half of the time, and they were FILTHY all the time. We brought it up to the entrance ranger a couple of times and on the third day to one who was actually walking around, and NOTHING EVER HAPPENED! They were never cleaned up! And the rangers were not friendly. The blond lady ranger who checked us in on Oct 1 wasfriendly and helpful, but the male with very long blond hair was rude and uninterested. W spoke with him at least two times. The dark haired, long, male rancher we saw walking was also curt and responsive. Said the RR's were being cleaned then, and they never were. The restrooms and showers at the commercial center were decent but they were a good half mile away with limited hours.Visitor Center closed on Oct 1! With a full campground. Our national Parks should be stellar, and they definitely need some park personell raining. I realize it has been a long ard summer.

The location is the best part of the campground. Close to a river, which turned into a stream, in late July and hiking trails. Lodgepole was perfect location wise. The campsite was super hot between 1pm-4pm. Only one stall in the bathroom worked. The showers by the store were disgusting. 2/4 stalls worked. Apparently the camp host/rangers dont work weekends because our neighbors played loud music until 3 am. The site itself was not as small as other reviewers made it out to be, could fit 2 6 person tents if need be. Be advised is only room for one car in the parking area. My daughter loved climbing the large bouldersWithin the campground. I would stay here again but not expect a shower.

Great campsite in an awesome campground. The parking strip in right next to the neighboring site, but far enough from the spot for the tent. Awesome hiking very close to the site!

Too small site. Perfect for 1 tent (4people max). You will be sharing the parking space with #179. You can only have 1 car. Partial shade. No trees for hammock. Near the restroom and water faucet. Not too far from the river.

We stayed at site #180 and it was unbelievably small. I never seen such a small campsite before. Aside from that, the campground itself is great.
