Great campsite, with access to river views and traiheads. Driveway is not super level if you have an RV, but if you tent camp its a great spot to pitch a tent. Sound of water is soothing. Bathroom is fairly far away, but otherwise great campground.

The RV dump station was not working, which was a bummer. Other than that it is always pleasant. Good to see the Rangers patrolling the camp ground. Very Clean.

The campsite it self is great for a small trailer like ours (21'). Amazing view of the Marble Fork Kaweah river, from a vantage point of about 20' above it. Access to the Tokopah and Tri-lakes trail heads were close and convenient, as was access to the Sequoia NP shuttle system. An added bonus was the presence of a hose bib about 25 feet behind the camp site, which made refilling the trailers domestic water tank a breeze.

Next time though, I would probably try and get either of the adjacent campsites (153 or 151), as they had a much larger useable area to set up tents, or play games. 152 was pretty rocky, which limited the usable area.

Would have loved it if the visitor center and the marketplace were open, but I look forward to seeing them in their renovated and updated states next time we come.

Beautiful campground! We loved it here. Nice spots, next to river, free shuttle buses from the parking lot and several hiking trails start from the campground.

Beautiful campground. Great location. The only reason why I dont give 5 stars is lack of shower !

A bit crowded. Went to the wild and still felt like we were in the city. Literally, music blasting from other campers, kids wrecking their bike or scooters in front of out camp site and your neighbors are close enough you can hear their conversation, smell their meal their cooking and if you have anything cool to play on in your space get ready to be their Baby sitter.

Our campsite was excellent - just above the river, so super idyllic. It was a nice campground allover although towards the weekend it was getting quite noisy and busy. We were disappointed to see that the Grill was closed for the season. Hiking trails were beautiful, some really deserted. We stayed two nights and one full day - in the morning we visited the Grand Sherman, hiked over the Alta Trail to Moro Rock. In the afternoon we hiked to Topokah Falls. We hiked with our two kids, 9 and 10 years and felt is was good to hike. Even saw two bears at Topokah Falls. Wonderful Nationalpark!!!

Campground is very beautiful. Men's restroom in D loop needs to be fixed. The door latches wouldn't work properly and the entire setup looks to be in poor condition.Campers in next site were oblivious to the silent hour limit and kept babbling till midnight. Showers at lodgepole visitor center closed during peak summer, which could have been planned better.
