Open nicely spaced campsites. Close to visitors center, store, laundry and showers. Nice ranger program the night we were there.

Larger campgorund, but very good distance between most campsites, and very quiet in the evening, had 1 bear wander through, escorted away by park ranger. Nice small river runs through campground. Nice to have showers, market (well stocked) and visitor center right there. Site 182 parking very evel for RV/Camper, easy to pull in or back in, plenty of room to maneuver, also large site with level larger tent area and no immediate neighbors. SIte 13 sits nicely above other sites, no close neighbors and very convenient to bathroom/showers, Site 13 very level driveway and easy back in.

Lodgepole is a great campground. Awesome location, and plenty of room in our site (152). I docked 2 stars because of the bathrooms. Absolutely disgusting. Toilets didn't flush well, toilet paper all over the floor, trash cans overflowing. I know you are camping, but it was beyond disgusting. I dreaded having to use the restroom at any time. They seemed like they were never cleaned once in the 4 days we were there. If the restrooms weren't an issue, I would've given 5 stars.

Stayed at lodgepole campground. Site 13. Very large slip. Fire pit was ok was a little small & had a bent grill. Picnic table was at the parking spot (could have been up closer to bear box and fire pit). Quiet campground w lots of space.

Campsite was comfortable; there was no water but nobody seemed to know when it would be turned back on. Campsite bathrooms were clean. Shower room could use more toilets; also some showers took money but did not provide any water. Hike to Topakah Falls was very nice as was Crystal Caves.

Lodgepole was quiet and pretty. We loved the convenience of the market nearby for hot breakfasts and showers! The location was good as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Site was not the right size for our trailer and truck despite dementions given online. Nice views. Fresh water spicket near our sight had a petroleum smell - notified NPS about this but it was never shut down.

I had no way of seeing the campsite before I got there. The ground to pitch my tent on, near the firepit and picnic table, was imbedded with large boulders. The only flat ground was far behind the site between two old trees that had an electrical wire passing over the top. The weather was "possible thunder storms." I left the site and went home.

We expected it to be a noisier campground reading prior reviews, but we found it pleasantly quiet. Generator use was limited to 3 hrs in the morning and 3 hours around dinner time at this campground. We were in a small RV but most of our neighbors were not, so we used the generator as little as possible. Site #13 was near the general store and road but it wasnt an issue. Hosts were great. Shuttle was an awesome way to get around to most areas of the park. We went the 3rd week of July and the days were in the low 80s and the nights in the high 50s. Bears are around so definitely used the bear bins. We checked out the Grant Grove area upon entry to the park before we drove to Lodgepole campground where we stayed for 2 nights and used the shuttle to take us around Sequoia.
