Loved this campground! Surrounded by tall trees and along a creek. It was beautiful. There were a LOT of sites, that seemed packed in. Everywhere you looked there were tents. Somehow it was quiet and peaceful though. Having the shop and showers was very nice. My only complaint was about the showers. In the women's, there were only 2 working showers. I was told by other campers that they are maintained and ran by contractors and you could tell they didn't care.

Love the shuttle buses! Once we parked in our campsite, we never had to move our vehicle until we left for home. Campsite was spacious with water and restroom nearby. Bummed some things were closed due to fire/winter storm damage but looking forward to returning again some time .

It was quite difficult to locate our site in the dark. We were so impressed that the bathrooms were super clean!!

Bears are a problem. Please know that the dumpsters must be locked after you put your trash in.Ranger, Twin and Heather lakes are gorgeous hikes.

Great central location in Sequoia right near General Sherman, Big Trees Trail, and so many other wonderful trails and spots to sightsee. The market is ridiculously handy in a remote location like this and the campground itself is well-maintained, clean, and we love how easy it is to access the river and nearby trailheads.

Beautiful campground with nice facilities. Tent camped during the month of October ... crowds were small, hiking weather was excellent, lots of wildlife observed throughout the park.
