Incredible campsite with all the amenities you can dream of (for a campsite) and the best visitors center in the park. The photos do not do the sites justice, because the setting is gorgeous and even campsites bordered on all sides by others feel secluded due to the trees.

Such a fun place! Don't forget to bring a bucket for dishes!

The place is amazingly beautiful! Only one complaint is that I wished that somehow they can be a lot more strict on the noise level, especially at night. The last night that we were there sounded as if we were camping in the middle of a big city durring rush hour.

The drive to this campsite at sunset was spectacular!! The campgrounds were beautiful and I wish we had more time for a longer stay!

Excellent campground. The dump station, showers, and laundry were closed but this didnt detract from our stay. Excellent ranger talks, transportation to Giant Tree Museum and General Sherman Tree. We loved the hikes from the campground and wading i Kaweah River. Lovely time. Family friendly.

This was my second time at Lodgepole. I love the scenery from my campsite(Upper loop) But the fact that there was no dump station available, the restaurant was closed and the general store had nothing in it and if you did find something to buy it was absolutely expensive.( i paid $75 for 2 ball caps a tshirt and some gummy worms) pretty bad, huh? This had nothing to do with bullshit covid restrictions..... Just lack of planning for the summer. I had to drive to Princess campsite, and pay $10 to dump.

Great location, didn't really have a choice of location I wanted. Bathroom/no shower are one of the worst conditioned. Went to a neighboring bathroom...they had no power.....really embarrassing for this wonderful park....that should be a priority on someones list......fix it!!

Very quiet during the week. Good access to various trails. 167 is a nice level pad adjacent to river. Large fallen tree provides buffer to adjacent spot. Easy walk to bathroom. Good water across the road. Campground was sold out but many spots were vacant. Saw a few bears.

Ive been going to sequoia/Lodgepole since 1986. Loved it as a little girl and now my kids love it too. Continuing our family tradition of making this one of our annual family trips. Best place ever!!
