Overall experience was good because just so grateful to be able to stay inside the park. However, it was inconvenient to have to change sites each of 3 nights, just to have a site. It is the most convenient campground in the park, and is served by a very good shuttle system to the primary attractions such as Sherman Tree and Moro Rock. The campground and facilities are beat down, but the location is top notch with the modern store and visitor center there.

Lovely campground, perfectly situated and incredibly tranquil. Showers had to pay for, and unfortunately were very unclean. Save for the showers, would have been five stars!

Wow! What's a great experience. The best campground I have ever been. Close to the shuttle bus and all amenities (shop, restaurant, laundry) just next to. Showers are paid extra. Our site was 051 so just next to the river (a lovely view at the morning from campervan's windows). Really nice and quiet place.

My stay @ Lodgepole Campground was Awesome...I was in A Loop and I was in walking distance of 2 of the shuttle stops, nice hot showers, & good coffee at the store.

Beautiful area to explore. Campground was perfect and nestled right by the stream. Walking distance to restrooms and the market. Perfect stay.

Beautiful, flat site right near the river. No restrooms in sight--had to walk to another loop for a restroom. Very difficult for older people. Nowhere to dump dirty dish water.

Site was nice, with location beautifully set by a creek. Sites were a bit closer together than in most camps, but not too tight. Facilities were decent, toilets could be cleaner but it was alright overall. Camp store was well equipped. We were notified by some neighbors about bear activity in the camp for the night we stayed, and the night before, but we personally had no disturbances in the night.

Great campground, my family loved this spot. Small stream very close. Down falls a lot of bears had two in our campsite these bears ate smart they ate learning how to open the bear lockbox. No cell service. Which I did not mind but if had an emergency you can't use your phone they do have payphones.

My family and I loved the campground and its amenities, the trails, and the easy access to the Sequoia National Forest giant sequoias.

Beautiful campsite with fabulous facilities. The walk up the river was stunning and we spied 3 bears which was a bonus!
