This was a poorly maintained campground. We stayed in loop 23-35 which had both water and bathrooms shut off due to weather below freezing. We have stayed at many campgrounds at below freezing weather where this was not a concern. The available campground bathroom was poorly maintained and in terrible, unsanitary condition. I don't expect luxury but expect sanitary conditions at a national park. There was also not information about purchasing firewood nor a visible campground host to provide information. Disappointed for a national park stay especially when booking this site so far in advance of our trip. I would have been better off dispersed camping in the nearby national forest.

I stayed at Lodgepole in mid-October after the campground had switched to winter service. All restrooms in the campground appeared to be closed except for one which was a long walk from our site. There was no indication of this on the map when booking or any of the information that was available when we arrived, we just had to wander (and then drive) around the campground until we found a restroom that wasn't boarded up.

Campground was well located within the park. Convenient walking distance to the Lodgepole Visitor Center (market & grill, showers, laundry) and the Marble Fork Kaweah River.Tokopah Falls found after a short hike (1.7/2m) from campsite.
