Campground is close to many nearby hikes and points of interest. Definitely recommend the trail in the campground. Even though the waterfall was dry, the hike itself was beautiful. The camp store was great, had all the essentials and then some. Picked up a few souvenirs for family back home! My only complaint was the lack of upkeep with the facilities. The restrooms were almost always dirty and would run out of toilet paper. Also some of the showers wouldnt work. Sometime to note, the campsites dont have any privacy between sites, but I knew this coming in when I booked it. Just wanted to mention if this is a important to you! Overall, would recommend and would stay again!

Such a beautiful campground. There was a fire pit and picnic table on each site which makes it totally comfortable. Beautiful area and view.

The campground is perfect for trips within Sequoia N.P. The shuttle starts from here, there is a grocery store, and the visitor's center - everything pretty close. Our site was easy to navigate into with a 30ft RV and we had lots of space around. It was quiet and peaceful. The restrooms were everything but nice and mostly clogged. Also only one sink for dishwashing.

Lodgepole needs some love and funding. Bathrooms in campground were out of toilet paper, showers at visitor center needed pressure washing/drain cleaning, quarter change machines were all down, etc. Park is great, but campground needs some upkeep.

disappointed that the Visitor Centers were closed. A ranger at the bus stop said to take this bus to the visitor's center. So we did. Alas, closed.

We loved Lodgepole campground bc of the great trails that are nearby and easy access to the famous groves. Rangers we’re friendly and very helpful.

Multiple hiking trails that are easily accessible. Creek was beautiful to be able to swim and enjoy, waterfalls hike was beautiful. Bathrooms cleaned regularly, and market had everything needed. Site 204 fairly flat when we used the camper van, can use 2 tents there. Just be mindful where water runs and just make sure not to put tent there just in case it rains.
