It was pretty nice in this time of the year. Easy access to the spot. Not much phone coverage if you have AT&T but Verizon worked wonders.

Great campsite, having fuel at the camp store was a lifesaver!

Very close to the market, just a 5min walk to the restroom, and its a 7min drive to the General Sherman parking lot. Overall, really happy with this camp site.

Sites are very tight for those of us towing a trailer. They would be easier for a shorter to medium length RV. Restrooms were a bit further than weve seen in other national parks. Picnic table and fire pit were pretty standard. All around, it was a pretty unremarkable exiperience, neither good nor bad.

Certainly an amazing spot. Got to my RV site and their was a tent setup, a car in the driveway with Mass plates and nobody was there. I'm from Maine and went to school in Boston so for the car to be from Mass was pretty funny – I felt like I was outside Fenway Park and just as I was about to pull into a parking spot a 'masshole' slipped in and cut me off. My site number was 15 and this guys site was actually 115 – only one hundred sites away, but so close at a glance haha. The ranger was helpful and put us up in the emergency site and we had a great time.
