There are hundreds of campsites here. So, if you like being around lots of people camping, then this campground will be fine for you. There are a few bathrooms around and are kept clean and nice. Overall had a great experience here.

The park is beautiful, but Lodgepole campground left a lot to be desired, mainly because the bathrooms were virtually unusable. Three out of four stalls on the Women’s side were clogged, one was leaking. The men’s side was similar - three of four stalls were closed and the remaining toilet was leaking. Additionally, I was yelled at and rudely told to “get out!” by the man cleaning the Women’s toilets in the Visitor Center. He had neglected to put up a sign.

When a fire cut our stay short, Recreation.gov refunded our balance immediately without us having to contact them. Excellent service.

Overall great campground and very friendly staff. We'll definitely stay again if we visit the park.
Campsites are well-maintained, clean, and easy to access. The market is convenient for getting some drinks and snacks. The view from the campsite itself is great. It's very close to some of the famous destinations in the sequoia np including the sherman tree, big tree museum, and moro rock.

The visitor center was closed for renovations and the store was also closed partially due to an electrical issue. Once the store opened up we were very impressed with the selection of food, drinks and, souvenirs. The bathrooms and flush toilets were very clean. Location to hikes and park attractions was perfect. Dump station was closed for repairs but hopefully it’s up and running soon.
