Had a great time. Hiked the Lakes Trail to Pear Lake. It wasnt easy, but so worth it!

Most of the water faucets in this campground either dont work or have high levels of rust. The bathrooms are filthy, and half of the stalls are closed due to plumbing problems. Meanwhile, at the General Sherman tree bus stop the bathroom odor is so bad it detracts from your experience.

This campground is always full so we were lucky to get a site in the first loop, near the store. I was afraid that the site would be noisy and exposed, and was pleasantly surprised; The site is in the sun, near the store and yet was private. Some other sites near the river are better, but what can you ask for a last minute reservation. Overall, the campground is very good.

Campground rangers and assistants were very helpful and courteous. They assisted us with changing our reserved campsite because it was too unlevel for our camper van. The biggest issue we had was with dirty and unkept restrooms that had not been cleaned or restocked on a regular basis. Very disappointing and not a good representation for international visitors.

Traveled from UK for camper van trip. Sequoia was our favourite national park and Lodgepole our favourite campground. Its right in the park, very rustic and beautiful. Showers are a bit of a way off, but other than that its a great place. Spacious sites.

Very quiet, convenient location. Shower is a big plus. Cashier at the General store is nice too.

Central location of Lodgepole Campground allows good access to easily explore many areas of the parks. Impressive giant trees.

Camp site was OK. Disappointed in the facilities as the advertised laundry service was shut down as well as showers. The shuttle was also shut down for the season. I know there are probably staffing issues in mid September but there seemed to be plenty of people in the park.

Nice campground but little shade. Was very hot. Sites clean. Restrooms were not very clean.

The campsite was very nice and spacious. It was too bad that the visitor center was closed for renovation and there were no showers available. The water from the campsite faucet was a rust color too.

Loved this park. The campground was convenient and really appreciated the shuttle, as it was convenient and also reduced emissions.

Was disappointed that the visitor center was closed during our visit.

Great location & quiet. The only down side was that the restroom in our loop was closed for renovation.

We took my mom camping for the first time, for her 90th birthday. We were so lucky to pick up a site that someone had previously reserved and canceled. The campground was next to the main visitor center, with showers, a restaurant and grocery. My Mom and my sister's family had the time of their life discovering Sequoia. I had been to Sequoia many times but camping there really enhanced my appreciation of the park. We especially enjoyed the ranger talks in the nearby auditorium. The night sky was breathtaking. fyi : There is abundant fire wood, so no need to buy . or bring any. THANK YOU Mr Muir!
