Awesome campground. Arrived a few days after an 8 inch snowfall, so water was turned off and restrooms closed in our loop. (Thus 4 stars instead of 5). Recreation.gov had sent us a warning that this was happening. Not too many neighbors in the cold, so had a nice calm vacation. Campsite fairly level.

Our only negative, we were in a section where generators were allowed. When one stopped, another started.Very busy campground. Our area emptied every morning and was full in the evenings. Water quality was very good. We did several day hikes right from the campground and otherwise were located close to where we visited. Booked for two weeks. Left a day early only because we were treed out and ran out of things to do.

We had a great time at this campground. We also attended the ranger presentation which was really informative! Definitely recommend!

Very nice campground with lots of amenities including a store and small restaurant. Very family oriented.

We love Lodgepole Campground, but with that being said there were a couple of things that diminished the camping experience. One was the fact we had to listen to a generator running till about 9:30 pm. This drastically takes away from the camping experience of being away and outdoors. Two is for the price of the reservations the bathroom could be exponentially better. Other than that we had a great time as always.

In mid-November most of the restroom facilities were closed in the camp area, the only open one was at the east end of the parking lot. Not too far of a walk... Otherwise a very calm, peaceful time to be up in the mountains

Stay was good. Most of the bathrooms were closed and the only one open was far from camp site.

Bathrooms were the worst amongst all the NPs i have been to. Everything else was fine.

Amazing camping facility, great team of rangers taking care of the facility. Would appreciate if the restrooms can be bit upgraded.. seems they are long due for renovation.
