The site was clean and has more flat area compared to other sites close by but its on the driveway and be prepared for cars passing by. The restroom is shared with people who at the shuttle stop and wasnt cleaned at all, no lights at night but there is electricity in the bathroom though. The ash barrel was full and wasnt able to clean my fire pit. Overall good campground with the river.

Overall had a good experience and would stay again. Restrooms are clean and stocked. Went in mid November and the Lodgepole Lodge was closed. Was hoping to get a shower there. The good news about this timing is it wasn't packed.Only gave it 4 stars for 2 main reasons.... 1. In the area for RVs to fill-up with water leaked 6 feet up. No way to fill water without totally getting drenched.2. The actual campsite was somewhat a mess with food scraps and various garbage. I recognize this is from previous campers but is a downsize of NP's that don't prep sites between use. On the other hand, cost is much cheaper than privately owned campgrounds. We cleaned it up and left it in much better shape than when we arrived.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sequoia in November. Not many campsites open so it was nice and peaceful. The groups around us obeyed quiet hours. The site we stayed in was a bit small. If we had another party with another tent it would have been a tight squeeze, especially since the picnic table is positioned in the middle of the site. Bathrooms were very clean. Not many park rangers going around but it's probably since the other camp sites were closed.

Although we were at the end of season, it was a great place to camp. Nice bathrooms, a store within walking distance, and close to tons of hiking. We enjoyed our stay here. The park is beautiful.

On 6/10: still badly damaged areas from a crazy winter. But it’s got most of the amenities that you’ll need. Picnic table, flat, bear box, and bathrooms. Still some time until the grocery store opens.

The camp site was beautiful and serene.
It was surrounded by sequoia and a creek runs through it.
I could hear the sound of the creek at night.
The camp site is pretty close to General Sherman tree which is another advantage.

Campsite is great and well maintained. There was a very active, large bear who was clearly interested in the campsites and seems to have visited every night of our stay. Rangers are aware and attendant to his presence.

2 problems:
1) Food at Wuksachi Lodge - this is the only restaurant in the park and the food is so clearly made with the least amount of effort and is just disgusting. I'm very easy to please when it comes to food, but this is just a complete embarrassment for the park. My lactose-free friend had a single option on the menu, a veggie sandwich composed of stale bread and a cold mixture of unidentifiable vegetables. How is this the best the park can do?
2) Construction noise at campground - they are doing some construction, which is totally fine and to be expected, but they began at 7am several of the mornings and made a huge amount of noise. What is the point of going camping only to be woken up by a bulldozer?
