My family and I stayed in 132 and had a wonderful time. It was quiet and near the river. Very well shaded all day which made the site cooler than expected. Saw a bear on the first night and the following morning. Be sure your food and all scented items are secured at ALL times.

We had campsite 132. It is right by the river so it makes quite a bit of noise. That said, it still makes for a marvelous view and being on the edge of the campsite adds an extra level of privacy.

We had a great site between the campground road and the river, so even though the campground was full, we didn't feel crowded-in as much as we may have in other sites. There's not a lot of privacy though. Water and the rest rooms were close by, but not too close. The rest room facilities were nothing special, but were perfectly adequate and reasonably clean. Our neighbors were relatively quiet and considerate. Lodgepole is a beautiful place--a base from which we took great hikes and explored other parks of the park by car.
