Campsite provides NO privacy, very little shade, very close to next campers. There was only one BR for the whole upper loop. BR was poorly maintained. TP all over, never cleaned, sinks horrendous, low flow water so had to flush 3 times just for paper. I think campers just gave up and stopped caring and it showed. It was disgusting. For a flush that bad, I would rather a nice vault that was cared for. I guess cutbacks are showing. They were painting, but only came once in the 4 days I was there. Stay in another loop with less campers, those were better cared for BRs.

The campsite was excellent and as described regarding the tent size that it would accommodate. The restrooms are dated and need to be cleaned more thoroughly. There was a camper that arrived very late at night and setup using power tools for an eternity.

Great campground in the heart of Sequoia NP. Plenty of hiking trails nearby.Restrooms were clean. Campsites were fairly large for tent camping.

Great campsite. Bummer that the showers are still closed, but we made due.

Arrived during the early stages of the KNP Complex Fire and was given adequate information regarding safety on arrival and was given clear updates as the situation changed. The campground was busy but still relaxing and very clean. I hope to spend more time here in the future.

We had a park ranger give us a talk about the pros and cons of wildfire, which was very informative and educational. I did not catch the young man's name but he deserves to be recognized for his enthusiasm and extensive knowledge. This was on Monday, 08/16/2021. Other than that, I enjoyed my experience at the Lodgepole campground. It was kind of crowded for my taste (a little too loud with a little too much light with slightly too many kids), but it's understandable since it's a popular spot. Thank you for an overall great experience!

Went out for one night because we needed some fresh air. This truly is an amazing campground in an amazing location. All the sites were nice and there was lots to explore for my daughter within the campground itself. Definitely coming back here.

Campground was full but easy to keep socially distanced, even in the bathrooms. The trails were another matter. A few mask wearers and most people stayed 6 away from each other, but some groups found it was appropriate to sit on either side of a narrow trail and not wear masks. If you're going to any popular areas (Tokopah Falls, Sherman Tree, etc.) do it EARLY- like before 8 am early to avoid as many people as possible.
