The park facilities were run down. The bathrooms at the campground were not cleaned/restocked. The bathrooms at the General Sherman Tree parking lot were the worst ever seen. feces on the floor, sewage everywhere. The employees were representative of employees everywhere unfortunately. We were told only one custodian was hired for the summer and he quit so they get to it when they can. The few rangers we saw did their best to ignore guests.

Best campsite, in the best campground ever! My only gripe is the website to make the reservation. It is impossible to get enough days. You have to have the site open at 12:01 am, ready to push reserve 6 months to the day only. Everything prior to that 6 month day is booked full and you can't reserve beyond that 6 month window...to the exact day. The site crashes constantly. I was lucky due to the pandemic that all reservations had been cancelled. I wanted 3 days, and the site only let me put 2 days in my "cart". When I went back to add an additional day, my first day was snatched up by someone else! How can this be improved?
