The camp ground was quiet considering that it was full and "off season". I guess there is no off season anymore I am told. Our campsite was not the greatest 139. I would not recommend it. By the garbage and no trees to hang a line and too exposed for our comfort. I appreciated that there were not bears walking through the camp during cooking and that other campers were good with bear safety. Not like Lake Tahoe. The hikes are awesome in the park and easy to find ones that are not too crowded. I appreciated being able to take a shower but the bathrooms need to be cleaned more often. I realize that $ is an issue and not enough staff in most of the parks. However, it is used so much it needs more attention.

Lots of space on this camp site. Its located near the dumpster but its not loud at all. You're also located at the main fork of the road so some road noise does come through. Plenty of shade during the morning and evening, partial shade during the middle of the day. Compared to other camp sites, this one had good amounts of shade. Limited sizing flat camping area was a good touch so keep in mind of the 9x12 size limits. The parking space itself is quite big compared to other sites. You could fit a large size truck, but not anything with a trailer attached. Restroom was a bit of a hike but not to far off. Water stations were also very close by.

Very loud and crowded. Felt like spring break. Campsites very close to each other.

The site 124 is perfect, next to the creek. You can hear beautiful water sound all night. At night, around 3 am, you will see the the most beautiful night sky. I saw stars on my eyes so close that i asked my hubby to catch one. I gave 4 stars because the site was double booked. Withe the campers' hospitality, we could set up the camp on the site and parked our car. They shared camp site and parking space. 5 stars 🌟 for the campers!
