The site is nice, water spigot near, but it is also right on a path and VERY small. Nearest restrooms were closed and porta potties added.

Site 41 was about 150-200 ft of walking in. A cart would be ideal and helpful, but its just a few round trips of getting your gear there. Overall was such an incredible experience, beautiful view and quiet. The river was full and we dunked ourselves in after a day of hiking to refresh ourselves. It was lovely and must in my opinion! The campsite was connected to the Tokapah Falls hike and that was a nice treat, and having access to the shuttles was super ideal and helpful. Certainly planning on coming back to this campground!

Very central to everything you could want on a first trip to Sequoia. We hiked out or took the shuttle conveniently our entire stay. The river was calming, plenty of fresh water spigots. I would stay here again.

We stayed in site #41 and it was great!! This site was in a good spot and was pretty close to the restrooms (no showers, just toilets and sinks) and we were also right next to a water faucet. And of course!! we were right next to the river so it was cool to hear it at night before we went to sleep. Our bear box also was pretty much covered by shade the whole time which means that it never got hot.The only thing to note is that we camped late September and it was very cold to be next to the river, but nothing crazy. Just come prepared :)Note that this is a "walk in" site which means that you must park your car a little bit away (maybe less than 100 meters) and carry your stuff to the site.

We had site 141 (Walk To) over Labor Day. It was next to the river. It is one of the better sites, not too close to other sites. You can see the bathrooms, but far away enough so you have privacy. There is a paved path that leads to the sites that is in front of of the site. You get the occasional person walking by. You are also close to shuttles which is convenient. We heard a loud noise at night and then in the morning discovered 2 garbage cans knocked over by the bathrooms, bears were in the area. Overall, great site.

Excellent!! Walk-in tent sites are a great balance of quiet and access to amenities.
