One of the best sites at the campground.

Your online system has big holes in it because if you need to change your reservation up in the mountains, theres no reception. I was used to doing it analog filling out a piece of paper writing a check and putting it in a box. It was much more simple. Now we had to drive around, trying to find reception in the park and we kept getting kicked off as we tried to book campground sites. Why cant the park rangers be a part of the system???

Beautiful campsite next to a stream. Nice views of the mountain ranges. Clean bathrooms with running water.Booking for the campsite is silly. You can't book at the kiosk, they send you to the hotel to use wifi so that you can book online with reserve america. My campsite and bear box were far from the car. I had booked the site as a convenience after doing the lakes hike and having sore legs so it was annoying to have to carry a 60 lb cooler, food, camp gear. I camped near a group that was partying and playing music until at least midnight.

Our family loved this campsite! The campsites are close together, but this is to be expected. The nearby hike from Wolverton to Watch Tower and Pear Lake was absolutely amazing and highly recommended. Our youngest is 10 and loved it. Make sure to obey the rules regarding food, etc. to protect the bears.

The campsite was clean and the bathrooms nice. I just would not recommend one of the sites like ours at 39 that you have to walk to, Especially if you had a long day of hiking.
