Nice clean campground close to buses, market and restaurant.

Nice campground with river running thru it. Nice private tent sites. Nice store and grill close by but busy. High elevation good for hot summers, although it was still quite warm. Be sure to get a site with shade if you go in summer as the sun heats tents up quickly. The only negative was the bathrooms. Very small and not cleaned often enough. Showers are outside of the campground at the visitors center and long lines in early June when we went. I would stay again.

First time camping was here and no complaints! Its a busy campsite that doesnt provide as much privacy and isolation as some others, but its unparalleled in location and access to amenities (showers, food, supplies, etc.).

Our family used Lodgepole Sequoia National Park. I love the site and also love its convenience near the trail and places for my kids to play. Furthermore, the market was the right entrance to the campsite, we were able to purchase some items we forgot to bring.

The location is central to everything and the free shuttle to these places was very convenient. The bathrooms and especially showers were not maintained to a minimum standard.

Great spot but our site had full sun, so we would wake up by 6 or 7 am sweating

Clean restrooms and great private site at #87. I wish the deli was open, but the Lodgepole Market had good selection so that made up for it. The bears made it a bit exciting by turning over the dumpsters and trash bins. Please save the bears by cleaning up your camp and storing your food and scented items properly.

Must see place. Can't believe I lived in CA for 20 years and this was first time. Campground is very clean, has a creek running through it and is close to main general store for additional supplies.
