Was one of the best camping experiences ever. Can't wait to return soon.

It was quiet at night. We were happy with the site itself. The park is beautiful. We would definitely return. The only complaint we had was our grate (fire ring) was broken.

Love Lodgepole Campground Sequoia! Campsites are clean and super easy to use and find. It's been many years since I've been but it has improved. Cant wait to go again.

The campground atmosphere and sites are spectacular. it is situated between river and trees and sites couldnt be better. Only washrooms are difficult for personal washing because only 2 small sinks for a lot of people without light or shelves. The possibility for showering or laundry is completely close.

Though there is drinkable water at the campgrounds, still may want to bring a couple gallons just in case

Excellent park with wonderful nature to explore! The Sequoia trees are amazing and the scenery is incredible around King Canyon.LodgePole campground was great, with the exception of the bathrooms, although considering we where there over a long weekend this may not be the usual case. Azelea campground was cleaner and quieter but the bathrooms were scarce and we had trouble cooking/eating due to a large number of hornets and flies that were attracted to our food.

This site in particular was very nice with some shade and some sun, spacious, with a good site for the tent, nice fire ring, easy access to water. The bathrooms were close, though you need a headlamp. The bathrooms were average and it was a bummer to not have showers available. However the hiking from the camp ground and the constant sound of the creek and running water was amazing! This site is not on the river, but you can enjoy the sounds of it.

Campsite itself was nice, surrounded by trees with enough shade, spacious.
Very disappointing that the showers and laundry were closed for the season, although this was not mentioned on the recreation.gov website.

Such a nice spot! Beautiful location with enough privacy between sites. It seemed they only allowed every other site to be reserved which made you feel like you had a lot more space. Loved the sound of the river nearby and loved that the bathroom was a short walk away, and the grocery store was a short drive (less than 5 min). We hiked tokopah falls right off the campsite and it was beautiful! Would definitely go again.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the campground. Very beautiful, and spectacular in all of its wonder! My only complaint is that it is listed as a dog friendly campground, but they're not allowed on any grass in common areas, or trails, and you are not allowed to leave them at your campsite.... so not really?
