Site 100 is absolutely lovely right by the water. We stayed here for a week and didn't want to leave.

Perfect spot!! Shade and sunny. Near the river and restrooms. Weve stayed in a few spots on this same campground and this is the best so far.

Very relaxing and next to the river! The site is spacious and seems more private than the one before it. Across the tokopah fall trail. Theres chipmunks and bugs. I would give it 5 stars if the water spigot and dishwashing area were closer. Restrooms are short walk across, it has flushing toilets and no lights (bring headlamp/flashlight). Beautiful big starry sky at night! Wear grippy sandals or water shoes when going to the rocky river! Refreshing swimming area with trout fingerlings! Lucky to snag a night but would stay here longer next time!

Campsite #100Privacy View Size One of my favorite sites at this location. Easy access to water, plenty of shade, restrooms far enough away yet close enough to access. Park on road next to site, easy unload, single vehicle parking. Short walk to Visitors center with showers & store. Also $1 showers and laundromat at same location , WIFI also & Museum.

Great location by the river and to other great trails, including Alta Peak. 10/10 recommend.

Campsite 100 was the best (better than the 101 in my opinion, and even seemed to be better than the walk-in sites further up on the upper loop). It appeared to be one of the more private sites in the area, due to not really having anyone super close. Water and bathrooms were a short walk away. The running river was a great addition (runs right by your tent), and provided an awesome sleeping experience with the white noise. We were also able to easily access the river, and if you were wanting to do the trail to Tokopah falls, it passes right across from the river and the site area. I suppose any downside would be you do see the hikers on the trail (and they can see you), but they were few and far between and didn't seem to bother us. Saw plenty of deer as well as a black bear...which was awesome albeit a bit scary. Would definitely stay at this exact same site again.

Lodgepole campground was beautiful! It was my first time in sequoia national park and we were so lucky to have found this spot. We booked it pretty late so we only had 2 options but the campground we got was perfect. It was a walk in spot but our car was basically right next to our campground. We were also right by the river so we went to bed and woke up with the water sounds which was so therapeutic. We were also not super close to our neighbors so we had a good amount of privacy for a campground. Would definitely visit again and probably pick the same spot!!
