Campsite #128 is amazing for it's privacy and secludedness. It is the very farthest campsite so you will only have a couple of neighbors. It is nestled amongst several trees and adjacent to the river.

The bad:- So many mosquitoes! Though they are not active in the early morning or late evening. I was told this year is especially bad.- The bathrooms! What people say about the bathrooms is true. They really need to do a better job keeping them clean. The good:- You have to walk 2 mins from the car. It's all the way in the back. There are some steps. But this also means you get a lot of privacy.- The cascades are right next to the site. We swam/dipped in the swim hole everyday after hiking. When we went at 8pm during summer, you have the whole place to yourself. It's surreal. Too bad the water is still cold in July. But later in the summer the water levels will also be lower I guess.- There's a paved flat patch to set up tents on. Just awesome.- The hike to the Tokopah Falls basically starts here. The end is so rewarding.- Great cellphone reception.

This is a great spot next to the waterfalls behind you and in front of you. If you are scared of the woods, it is the last spot, so beware. There are steps to get to the site. People kept walking through the site trying to gain access to the waterfall, understandably, the waterfalls are spectacular.

Nice campground we got 128 and it was the most secluded i would say because its at the end of the loop theres a couple flight of stairs to get to the camp and quiet a walk from the parking space but it was still nice because we have the view next to the little falls, i would camp here again

Lodgepole Campground is my favorite campground of all time. Beautiful landscape with clean amenities and some sites feel quite private and remote. The Lodgepole Market & Cafe has everything you need including beer and wine and is very fairly priced, especially given the location. Lodgepole is super convenient for getting to all the sights in Sequoia and the free shuttle comes through frequently to take visitors to and from the main sights.
