Literally the most quite and peaceful campground I have visited. No one was blasting bad music. Everyone was very respectful. Two things to note:1. They had a rough winter which rendered the proximate water faucet unusable. No one seemed in a rush to fix this. Water can still be found at the restrooms.2. The restrooms are few and far between. Expect a 5 minute walk to get there.

Campground is beautiful. Large groups of people scavenging for wood, playing loud music, and running through others sites really detoured from the beauty of the park.

We enjoyed our time at campsite 11. As others have said its a short walk to the general store and Grant Grove. My favorite part was watching all the chipmunks and squirrels run around the whole weekend. The site is also very close to Panoramic Point where we drove to at night to join a ranger guided tour about wildlife after dark. The only negative about this campsite for us was the yellow jackets. As soon as you bring out food, a dozen or so will start flying around. They werent aggressive towards us but were still an annoyance.

There's a trail to Grant Grove. Village is also close by if supplies are needed. Prices at the store is reasonable. We went around the camp and every site has its own personality, for us you can't go wrong at any sites.

We stayed at campsite 11....good spacing from other campsites, adequate shade, and lots of space for tent. Loved the trails around the area. Quiet during sleep hours. Restrooms clean but signage to get to one of them could be improved. Even though not required, there was very good wifi reception. Overall an excellent location and well kept facility. We will return.

So beautiful I didn't want to leave the campground. They have a tent only section and all the sites are well separated by hills, rocks, and BIG trees.
