We had a wonderful campsite with a beautiful view. It was clean and well maintained.

Nice pull through site with water and electric next to the lake. Kind of stinky when the breeze stilled. Lots of golf carts making the rounds around the campground.

Site 6 on the Primitive Loop is a pull off site, with tiered living areas and a great view. Water and Electric hookups. The steps between the tiers are a bit tall for the vertically challenged and somewhat uneven. Grand Rivers is a great place to visit along with the dams and LBL attractions.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Most sites in the primitive area are level, a few pull threw. Water and electric at all sites with clean restrooms/showers. One site, #6, is right by the lake. Best in spring and fall. Deer, squirrel, opossum, skunk, chipmunks, Canadian geese, and Mallards were all seen this last trip.

The campground is conveniently located very near Grand Rivers, Ky. And its right on the water with a boat ramp and courtesy dock. The facilities were all working, sites seems well maintained, and bath houses were clean. Ranger was very visible which we appreciated. Site 6 was awesome! If we could have changed anything it would have been to make the fire ring moveable, but thats a little detail in an overall great stay. Watch for turtles! Go to Pattis! Eat at Cabin Pizza!

Patti's 1800 restaurant and shops is minutes away.

The wildlife was unbelievable! Deer, turtles, raccoons, cranes, even a skunk passed through without incident. Beautiful site! Great camp hosts!

We stayed in spot #6 very nice spot. You are facing the water. The sight has plenty of space. We liked it so well that we booked a another stay in August. The staff is very nice. But the fire wood they are selling is a bit green and wet. The shower houses are very clean. And the campgrounds are very close to town. The phone service is also very good. We highly recommend canal campgrounds.

This campground is dirty... there were five or six tires in the water and half of a hot tub. The skunks are awful at night. We almost stepped on them scurrying across our campsite several times. The campground attendants were selling wet wood and advertising it as seasoned. The were also regularly feeding the deer. You should also know that there will be lots of people driving golf carts at this campground. Sometimes theyre obnoxiously lit up and driven around late at night.
