As always the campground was clean and well ran. The camp host are great people and always willing to answer questions or help accommodate your needs.

Another great COE site. Right on the lake and beautiful area of LBL. Nature everywhere with plenty to do. Grand River is a great little area to spend a day. Our site was paved and fairly level. Deer came up every evening to our site. Here is why it is not 5 stars. The showers and restrooms where not clean and that is generous. I don't know who cleans them but it is obvious they are doing to he minimum. I mean dead bugs on lavatories, walls, showers. The sinks had dead bugs parts everywhere.

We had a blast!! Very nice clean campground!! Also fun that you can ride your golf carts into town and eat and play putput at Pattis. We stayed on the flats and its plenty of space for a big rv! Already ready to plan another trip!

We have always loved Canal Campground. It's quiet, beautiful, relaxing.

The Canal Campground is an excellent place to camp. There are several waterfront sites. The campground is clean and well maintained. The folks working at the campground are helpful and friendly. Plenty of places to walk or ride bikes. Pet friendly. Boat launch and fishing dock are available. shower and bath houses are clean and spacious. Spots from primitive to full hookups available. Some sites are designed to be handicap accessible. Peaceful and natural beauty abound.
