We loved the campground. It was an absolute beautiful place. We appreciated seeing the sheriff drive through often. The only thing that took away from our first stay there was the 2 campsites across the road from us, were very rowdy until late at night and then on Sunday morning we're blaring their Mexican music for everyone else to hear. I don't know what the solution would have been for something like that, but I would stay there again, just in a different spot.

Very nice campground, quiet mid week to weekend stay, clean restrooms, friendly camp host/volunteer. We arrived in the mist of a scary thunderstorm and a rising river, thankfully our site was high enough to not be affected. Recreation.gov and and a campground volunteer kept us posted on important changing weather conditions. Visited Mammoth Cave National Park, awesome cave tours and rode the bike trail from the park to Cave City and back. Definitely will return to explore more of the area.

There is a tree in the middle of this drive that you have to squeeze by to park in, if you aren't proficient at backing your camper/rv this is not the spot for you.

Dog Creek - bring your watercraft! Big time boater lake. Good base camp for Mammoth Cave area. Our site was uphill and featured a tree in the drive, but was otherwise excellent. Kudos to the campground firewood/produce store, on the honor-system. Restrooms were clean , park maintenance was good. Packed on the weekend but quiet overall.

We were in site 30B and no one told us there was a big tree inside the site could not even use our awning or get into one of our storage bins this needs to be removed or flagged on the site when making reservations

We could not fit a 45 ft motor home one the spot they said we could. No internet or cellular service to change/modify reservation at the campground. We drove to family dolla( at their recommendation)r and still no service. (5 miles away) We ended up leaving and going to a different campground.

The campground itself is great. We enjoyed our brief stay with the exception of getting into and out of site B30. This site is wonderfully level once you are settled, but the approach to pad is a steep grade with pea gravel. Positioning a 33 foot camper up a steep grade with an interfering large tree was not for the weak of spirit. Doable but it certainly deserves a warning.

The campground is clean and well kept in every way. Our particular campsite was a bit difficult when putting our camper on it. The entrance was rather steep, with chat ... had several times when my truck (2 wheel drive) spun in the rock as I tried to get the camper up onto the pad. Also, there is a tree that adds to the difficulty in getting the camper onto the pad ... my camper is 34 foot. Fortunately, I had two people helping me get it in without hitting anything. The campsite was wonderfully level! Once settled, everything was good! Enjoyed our stay, and would not hesitate recommending it to any camper.

Had some rain the week we stayed. We were very happy overall. Very clean and nice place. Very friendly staff and very clean facilities.
