Awesome campground, sites set up nicely. We’d return. Takes a while to get to campground but worth it. First time we’ve been to Kentucky (visiting Mammoth Cave) & we chose here to camp. Quiet, CLEAN (appreciate “clean” since we’ve been camping for 4 months & have experienced more dirty/littered in other states parks rather than clean). Thank you. Cell service a problem. Especially because Green R ferry broke down & we had to take an alternate longer route to Mammoth Cave.

we reserved our site without having seen the campground, we ended up needing to arrive a day earlier and were able to add the same site to our reservation. big, clean sites, very friendly and helpful camp hosts, the bath house was very clean and well maintained the shower especially! very family friendly campground, beautiful lake for boating or kayaks. We stayed at DOg Creek to go to Mammoth Cave, 30 minutes away. we will definitely stay there again when in the area! Very close to all the cave tours.
