The campsite was very clean and the other campers were very friendly. We did go to mammoth cave and enjoyed the hike surrounding the cave. Would stay again if in the area.

This was our 4th stay at Wax Campground (C loop) this season, and for a change there was no rain this time. Always enjoy the quiet surroundings, clean sites, and views of the water. Clean restroom & shower facility, with plenty of hot water. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We'll certainly be back next year.

This was our 3rd time staying at Wax, and everything went well as always. If only we'd get a completely rain-free stay it'd be a change, but can't control the weather. Used the same site we always do, which is conveniently right across the street from the restroom and shower bldg. It's level, and spacious enough for our squaredrop trailer, even when we add the rear walls to the 270 awning. Staff is always helpful & friendly. Returning once again in about a week.

This was our second time staying at Wax Campground. Our site (C08) was clean and level, making camp setup easy. We like the gravel feature of the site as it doesn't turn into a mudhole if it rains. Restroom/shower building was clean, and plumbing fixtures worked. Plenty of hot water for showers. Staff is friendly and heloful, and we also like that the local Sheriff's dept makes random rounds through the camogrounds. Will definitely be back again.

First time we've stayed there, and we spent 2 nights. Campground and restroom/shower facilities were clean & well maintained, and conveniently right across the street from us. We eere in our square-drop traiker, and the pull-thru site (C08) was flat, with small gravel (nice not having a muddy mess to deal with after the rains that went through), and a sturdy picnic table, fire pit, and a pole for hanging lanterns, etc. Staff was very friendly, plus random patrols from the local Sheriff driving through the loops. Could hear and see the water traffic on the lake which was nice. Grandson took his ebike and fishing gear, and made the most of the nearby shoreline to fish from, plus trips to the local store down the road. Will definitely be returning in the future.

You guys need a beach and a better playground. The side we stayed at only had like 5-6 swings. Not very much for kids to do
