Ourtrip started out with someone had taken our reserved camp site we called the number on registration booth and the person that answered was very helpful in getting us another site (not the one we reserved) but all and all we had a very good family camping trip the camp ground was clean and very pleasant.

We love the beauty and cleanliness of Wax Campgrounds. Nolin River is a great place to fish, boat, swim, and camp. The camp hosts are friendly, and the campgrounds are extremely safe and well-patrolled. The marina is literally across the road, along side an awesome little restaurant. My husband and I have camped all across the US. Wax Campgrounds will not disappoint.

Best waterfront sites are primitive. Definitely a must go anyway. Good fishing, nice neighbors. Clean and friendly staff :)

We like to camp by the water So we can fish. There were five boats along the area the whole time we were camping. We had to go to the marina pier to fish. There were kids unsupervised on the road way. Trash was left by the water way. Toys were left in the road ways, scooters.

I really liked this site. We were right on the lake and fish or swim. The campsites were spread apart so you werent on top of each other. This is my favorite spot for wax.
