We love staying at Baileys! We stayed in the D loop for the first time Oct 12-16. It is a backwards site so you will have to enter through the exit. Be aware of the falling acorns and hickory nuts all over the site. Our vent cap got hit multiple times and created several holes; our canopy got some holes as well. It was an ok site overall but we wouldnt book it again.

Site needed some attention. No lantern hook. Little plastic toys left behind by previous campers. Tent was raided by red ants (and I mean they were everywhere, so I decided to sleep in my SUV). Went to hang up hammock but both trunks were enveloped by poison oak. Site has a beautiful view of the lake. I liked that it was patrolled by host and I saw a ranger come through as well. Been camping at Bailey's for over 20 years ever since the F section used to be opened regularly. I'm no stranger to tent camping. Sad to say it seems Bailey's could use a little help in the maintenance department. It wasn't a bad stay, but there are better sites here. I won't stay at D5 again.

Great location by the lake. Easy walk down the bank to the water and fun for the kids to play in the water.
