It’s a beautiful park and the sites are very nice. Our issue was the camp hosts were not friendly. We brought our golf cart and used it to explore the park but didn’t realize this was not allowed. They were not nice in telling us we could not use it in that manor. We then rode it to the beach and parked it on the gravel and she again said that was not allowed. We felt like everything we did was not allowed. We ended up packing up camp and going to Barren River State Park. The hosts are much more friendly.

We camped here the 4th of July, even though it is not next to the water, it feels like you are out in the middle of the forest and its so pleasant. Plenty of room!!
