We had heard many great things and were excited to visit. The most surprising and disappointing aspects were an indefinitely closed camp store and overgrown areas of the campground, not being maintained or mowed.

Beautiful campground on the water at Barren River lake. Quiet, wooded sites with great views. Can be a little tricky moving an RV around due to hills and trees. But it is well worth the great camping experience!

Fishing Creek is a great little campground. Lots of spaces on the waters' edge and some have extra parking for boats/ guests. Park if very clean and well cared for. Easy boat launch.

If your an inexperienced driver with a 40 foot or larger 5th wheel I would avoid loop E due to several trees right along turns on the lower end towards the lake.
