Great site. Pull-thru was so nice and the campsites are a fair distance apart.

Great place to camp. No problems, except we were attacked by a dog. The dog was at Site 35 on the evening of June 11th. The dog came at my dog and I dragging his chain. I was almost knocked down and my dog was bitten slightly. The owner intervened and apologized. Park needs to watch this type of problem.

This is a GREAT place to visit...A lot of room to relax and enjoy the park. While there is NO sewer hookup at the site, the dump station is clean and accessible. (No problem for a 3 / 4 night stay)Water and electric are available at all sites... Need to verify, but I think 30 & 50amp available at all sites.Hesitated doing a review, because I want to be able to go back. :)

Everything is fine, except the fishing. Very few people are catching fish at the River Pond. The fish feeders are not working this year.

We stayed at A loop. The week was great. Our one reservation was at the dump station. There is only one sewer connection and there is no grey water hose to connect to the camper. Expanding the dump station to accommodate two RVs would be helpful.

We camped at camp site 48 down at the overflow pond and loved it!!! The fishing was great!!! Sites are clean and the showers are as well clean and free!! Sites are spread apart well. Plenty of shade at all the sites and a wonderful walking trail around the pond. Loved that there's two swimming areas. All sites have electric and water!!! This place was quiet and the park ranger comes through often. Would definitely recommend to anyone going the southeast Kansas!!

We loved it. Didn't even mind being close to the shower house.

Its a quiet camp ground with open space. We stayed in A-Loop and enjoyed the space the kids had to run around. Plenty of shade trees, great fishing, nice walking paths and easy the get around.
