We love the Melbourne Park outlet. We drive 380 miles from Western Kansas to spend two weeks there. The scenery is beautiful and the facilities are top-notch.

We love coming to the Outlet at Melvern lake. Have made so many friends through out the years. Its always so so fun. Wish there was more full hookups but we will survive

We pulled in the C loop to see what available site we wanted to stay in we decided on 140 we went online and paid for our site and backed our motor home in and got hooked up and was about all set up when a guy in a golf cart pulled up and rudely asked me ( are you going to check in ) we argued back and forth about it I told him when we stayed in the spring I didnt check in hes said thats a lie then his hands up and drove off leaving us to unhook load everything up drive the motor home back up to the gate to check in his excuse for the whole situation was there is a new ranger at the park and she is cracking down on the no shows when we got back to our site all of our neighbors were curious about us leaving and coming back and amazingly enough none of them had checked in either as we hadnt in the spring

Fantastic place to camp with full hookups. Beautiful videos, clean restrooms, and large spaces. Will be back every year. Loved it b

I would have rated this five stars but for the fact that US 75 runs north-south along the eastern side of the lake. The campsites in that area are beautiful but they are marred by the road noise, especially at night.

Beautiful COE park, the nicest weve been to in our years of camping. Lots of shade. Two small lakes, one with a beach and one surrounded by campsites and walking trails. The larger lake is good for fishing and kayaking. Camping loop A is W/E and has less shade, but the sites are large and well spaced. Loop B is very shaded and has FHU with 50 amp available. This loop is set up for pull throughs and the sites are situated closer together in a criss-cross type configuration. (See the site map and/or satellite view). Loop C is FHU and abundance of shade. Many sites are lakeside. All sites in this loop are well spaced. This entire campground is impeccably maintained. Each loop has a shower building with laundry facility inside. Easy access from I-35 and its about 30 miles south of Topeka. Excellent camping.
