Clean bathrooms and camping sites. Friendly camp host. Beautiful lake views.

Always a great time here. Opening day the RR in first loop had no TP and RR not cleaned, but rest of week they were regularly serviced.

This is a really nice campsite, always enjoy spot 33. Trees are starting to need trimmed, can't put awning out all the way because of the branches.

We really like Big Hill Lake for fishing and camping. A bit disappointed this last trip on the upkeep.

Love this campground. It is so beautiful. The sites are spaced out and lots of trees. There isnt a bad site in Mound Valley!!

We love going to Big Hill Lake and we always stay at Mound Valley. I wish the Corp of Engineers would invest more money to bring the camp site pads up to snuff. Many of them are in poor shape. This is a beautiful place to camp. Just needs a little more TLC. I also wish more of the camp sites close to the lake had water.

We booked on short notice. Got the site we wanted and enjoyed every minute. Great trail on west side of lake. Kayaking was great as always. Very quiet. Clean bathrooms. Always a great stay.

We’ve been camping/fishing at Big Hill lake for many years and we love it.
However, a few things are in need of attention. Some of the public use water hydrants in the North Loop do not work which makes it difficult for filling tanks. Next, a lot of the markers for the lane on the lake are missing, making it dangerous for those who aren’t familiar with it.
It’s a beautiful lake, hoping the Corp will invest in some upkeep and repairs.
